Residents of Akrokerri in the Ashanti Region woke up to a chilling discovery on Saturday, March 1, 2025, as the lifeless bodies of a woman in her late thirties and her two-year-old daughter were found in a bush along the outskirts of the town.
According to a police report sighted by MyNewsGh.com, the Assemblyman of Akrokerri Fie, Andy Mensah Kyeremeh, and the Unit Committee Chairman of Odumasi Electoral Area, Owusu Michael, received information about the tragic incident around 8:20 a.m.
and rushed to the scene.
They later reported the case at the Akrokerri police station, prompting an immediate response from law enforcement officers.
