Legal practitioner and Member of Parliament for South Dayi, , has called out the leadership of the Ghana Bar Association (GBA) over what he describes as their apparent aversion to President .
In a post on his X page on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, the Majority Chief Whip shared a list of speakers scheduled for the GBA's 2025 annual conference and noted that while the association almost always platformed former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo during his tenure, the current president of the country did not make the list for this year's edition.
He accused the association of being biased toward President while challenging the GBA to continue performing the bidding of the opposition New Patriotic Party. "Your unalloyed bias against JDM and the NDC government is too glaring to be ignored now.
You can continue to act as a wing of the main opposition party to do its bidding; we are ready for you," he stated.
