The running mate of the New Patriotic Party, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh has urged former Members of Parliament, Ministers and MMDCEs in the Kufuor and Akufo-Addo administrations to bring to bear their political experience on the Bawumia 2024 Campaign. Speaking to former MPs and appointees from the Ahafo, Bono and Bono East regions on Friday, August 23, 2024, in Sunyani, Dr. Prempeh urged them to put behind whatever disagreements they might have had with the party. In Dr. Prempeh's view the interest of the party remains supreme and thus, the need to put their shoulders on the wheel towards victory for the party in 2024 "We are aware that some of you may not be happy about one or the other, but remember that, the party interest remains supreme.
