4-year-old boy swept away by river in Ga South

A four-year-old boy has been swept away by the River Adjei at Nurses Junction in the Ga South Municipality of the Greater Accra Region, triggering an intensive search and rescue operation.

According to an eyewitness, Habiba Armani, the children were crossing a bridge over the river when the four-year-old accidentally stepped onto the sloping edge.

He lost his balance, fell into the fast-flowing river, and was swept away by the strong current before anyone could rescue him.
