Over 80 acres of land that the Greater Accra Regional Coordinating Council (GARCC) salvaged after the demolition of the Agbogbloshie scrapyard and the Onion Market four years ago is under siege.
A visit to the location revealed that the scrap dealers are back.
Speaking with Mohammed Zakaria, a sub-chief in Old Fadama who is also the Chairman of the scrap dealers stated that, "we were sacked from this place because they said the government was coming to use the land for Agenda 111 hospital project.
