PAMEPI Women in Tech Ghana, in collaboration with the Embassy of Switzerland in Ghana, successfully organized a transformative three-day programme titled "Advancing Girls' Rights Through Technology." The event, designed to empower young girls aged 16 to 24, provided essential tools and knowledge to protect themselves in the digital age while promoting their human rights.
The programme's primary focus was to educate the participants about fundamental human rights, with an emphasis on how these rights affect daily life.
A key topic was domestic violence, a significant challenge faced by many young women in Ghana.
By equipping participants with crucial knowledge, the program aimed to foster a supportive community where these girls could advocate for themselves and others.
