The newly appointed Greater Accra Regional Minister, Linda Ocloo, has reaffirmed her commitment to improving the region's infrastructure and maintaining order on the streets.

Speaking to the press, she highlighted the urgent need to fix street lighting and regulate street hawking, both of which contribute to road safety and traffic congestion. "The issue of streetlights should be fixed.

We are making sure that at least a significant percentage is operational," she assured.

On the growing issue of street hawkers taking over major roads, Ocloo made it clear that her administration would enforce the law to bring order. "We are going to enforce the law using the task force of the MMDAs and security services," she stated.
