Akuapem North MP Sammi Awuku has taken a refreshing and optimistic stance following the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) transition to the opposition after the 2024 elections.

In a political climate often marked by animosity, Awuku's remarks reflect a desire for unity and progress for the nation.

Speaking on Adom FM's Burning Issues program monitored by MyNewsGh, the MP expressed goodwill towards the newly elected National Democratic Congress (NDC) government, emphasizing that the NPP harbours no ill will over the electoral outcome. "We wish them well," he stated earnestly. "Our prayer is that the NDC succeeds in implementing policies that will benefit every Ghanaian." His tone conveyed a genuine hope that, despite the political rivalry, the incoming government would work for the collective good of the nation.

Awuku's comments come at a time of introspection for the NPP.
