Roads and Highways Minister-designate, Kwame Agbodza, has touted President John Mahama's commitment to limiting the number of ministers in his administration to 60.
He said the objective is to reduce wasteful public expenditure.
During his vetting by the Appointments Committee on Monday, January 20, Agbodza emphasised that Mahama's decision to stick to this pledge, including Deputy Ministers and Regional Ministers, demonstrates his dedication to keeping his promises.
Mr Agbodza described Mahama as a "man of his word," noting that many doubted that the President would maintain such a limit on the number of ministers.
