A leading member of the Movement for Change, Solomon Owusu, has questioned President-elect John Mahama's decision to appoint an advisor for the National Democratic Congress' (NDC) much-touted 24-Hour Economy policy.

As part of his initial appointments, President-elect Mahama has named the venerable and experienced politician and lawyer Goozie Augustus Tannoh as Presidential Advisor responsible for the 24-Hour Economy and Accelerated Export Development.

However, speaking on TV3, in an interview monitored by Ghanaweb, Solomon Owusu, known for his fiery political commentary, described the appointment as unnecessary. "In a situation where you come into office and, within the twinkle of an eye, the number of people lobbying is overwhelming, I don't envy President-elect John Mahama.
