President-elect John Dramani Mahama is a democrat hence he should not be encouraged to amend the constitution to enable him to serve two consecutive terms, Executive Director of Global InfoAnalytics Mussa Dankwah has said.
He said John Mahama should not be encouraged to be Ouattara of Ivory Coast or a Kagame of Rwanda.
To that end, he has opposed any conversation that calls on President-elect John Dramani Mahama to serve two consecutive terms.
He believes that having served a term already between 2013 and 2016, Mr Mahama should just do his second term after winning the 2024 elections and leave the scene.
