The funeral planning committee for the eight Ghanaians who died in the helicopter crash on August 6, 2025, has provided an outline of the state funeral to be held in their memory.

According to Deputy Chief of Staff Stan Dogbe, who addressed the media, the funeral will strictly be a military funeral conducted by the Ghana Armed Forces.

The funeral will be in three parts, beginning with Bible and Qur'an recitals, followed by the main service, and ending with the burial.

The pre-burial programme will start at exactly 7:30 am and end at 9:00 am.
