Speaking on Wednesday at the inauguration of the joint transition team, President Akufo-Addo expressed confidence that the economy had recovered to its state during his first term in office.
However, the John Mahama transition team disagrees, insisting that significant challenges remain in the country's economic landscape.

He further criticized the President's claim, saying, "It is a stretch to suggest that we are suddenly out of the woods or that the economic problems have been resolved-they have not.
