The Ghana Police Service has apprehended 12 suspects in connection with looting and property damage across various regions of the country.

A statement issued by Grace Ansah-Akrofi, Assistant Commissioner of Police and Director of Public Affairs, revealed that initial investigations have confirmed the suspects' involvement in attacks that caused significant damage to state property.

Among the incidents, the Electoral Commission (EC) office in Damango, located in the Savannah Region, was set on fire.

Additionally, some residences of District Chief Executives (DEs) were damaged, and several collation centers were vandalized.
