With just nine days remaining until Ghanaians head to the polls to elect a new president and Members of Parliament, the (EC) has called on political parties to ensure that their agents conduct themselves responsibly to uphold the integrity of the electoral process.
Dr.
Bossman Asare, a Deputy Commissioner of the EC, emphasised the critical roles of party agents in safeguarding the transparency and credibility of the elections.
However, he acknowledged that disruptions sometimes arise due to agents' lack of understanding of the Commission's procedures.
