Some ammunition contained in a 40-foot container has been intercepted by the Customs Division of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) at the Tema Harbour.

The content of the container seized by the Authority include 53 pistols [side arms], 65 pieces of live ammunition, 74 magazines, and a PC hoster at the Golden Jubilee Terminal of the Port.

The suspects who were transferring the items were arrested and transferred to the Marine and Railway Police Station in Tema for further investigations.

The Commissioner of Customs, Brigadier Zibrim Ayorrogo, speaking to journalists Wednesday, November 20, 2024, indicated that the items were intercepted on Wednesday, November 04.
