Renowned Ghanaian preacher and gospel singer, Sonnie Badu, has delivered a passionate message to Ghanaians as the December 7, 2024, general elections approach.

Speaking in a recent interview on Accra FM, Badu urged citizens to reject gifts from politicians seeking votes, emphasizing the need to prioritize accountability and the nation's welfare at the ballot box.

Reflecting on Ghana's current economic challenges, Badu did not shy away from criticizing the government, describing it as a failed administration.

He encouraged voters to consider the rising cost of living when making their decisions. "Don't let anyone deceive you with gari, rice, or yam, and throw away your precious vote," he cautioned. "The only time you hold real power is now, and you see it in how politicians suddenly visit your towns and villages, pretending to understand your struggles.
