Chief Of Staff, Frema Opare has indicated that propaganda has no place in Ghana's education.

She was reacting to reports of repackaged expired rice distributed to certain senior high schools (SHSs) in the country.

Frema Opare who spoke to Accra-based Joy News, said, "You know it is not true, so please let us focus on things that move this country forward… We have good things; we have to focus on how we advance the Ghanaian children, and how we improve their opportunities so that they become good citizens.

Propaganda and rumour-mongering have no place in education." Meanwhile, the Public Relations Officer for the Education Ministry, Kwesi Kwarteng, indicated that the rice was cleared by the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) before they were distributed to the various schools.
