The Member of Parliament for Adaklu, Governs Kwame Agbodza, says the National Democratic Congress (NDC) caucus will assume the majority position when Parliament resumes on Thursday.
Agbodza, who was speaking at a campaign tour to the Volta region by the running mate of the NDC, Professor Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang at Adaklu Ahunda, said the NDC will take the majority position following Speaker Bagbin's declaration of four parliamentary seats as vacant.
Agbodza however, declared that he will go to Parliament on Thursday as the Majority Chief Whip and nothing less than that. "I do not intend to be called Minority Leader in 2024, and that will not happen.
I will be going to Parliament on Thursday as Majority Chief Whip, and I will come back as Majority Chief Whip.
