The Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Youth Manifesto Committee, Julian Mawuse Cobbinah, has assured that the newly launched Adwumawura Programme will be free from political interference and favoritism.
In an interview on Channel One Newsroom on Sunday, May 4, he stressed that beneficiaries of the programme will be selected based on merit, not political affiliation.
He added that the Mahama-led government is committed to establishing a credible, transparent system for awarding support under the programme to ensure that truly deserving young entrepreneurs receive the assistance they need. "The John Mahama Government believes that it can help create 10,000 new businesses every year, that are created by young people.
