  • Reports to: CEO 
A dynamic community bank is seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resource Manager to lead our people operations. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, and ensuring compliance with the Ghana Labour Act, 2003 (Act 651). 
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Talent Acquisition: Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, interviewing, and seamless onboarding of top-tier talent. 
  • Performance Management: Develop and administer performance appraisal systems to drive employee growth, productivity, and organizational success. 
  • Employee Relations: Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture. Mediate and resolve employee grievances and conflicts professionally.
  • Compliance & Policy: Ensure strict adherence to Ghanaian Labor laws. Develop, review, and implement HR policies and employee handbooks.
  • Learning & Development: Identify training gaps across departments, coordinate capacity-building programs, and promote career progression.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Oversee payroll inputs, salary benchmarking, and employee benefits administration (e.g., SSNIT, health insurance). 

Requirements

Required Skills or Experience

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., IHRMP) is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a managerial or business partner capacity.
  • Experience working in a community banking environment is an added advantage.
  • Deep practical knowledge of the Ghana Labour Act.
  • Strong proficiency in HR software, MS Office Suite, and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Exceptional conflict resolution, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
