We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Hotel Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel and ensure the highest standards of service and operational excellence.
Position Summary
We are looking for a proactive and experienced Hotel Manager to lead the overall operations of the hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring excellent guest satisfaction, overseeing financial performance, and maintaining high operational standards across all departments.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
* Supervise and coordinate all hotel departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Kitchen, Laundry, and Maintenance.
* Ensure exceptional customer service and promptly resolve guest complaints and concerns.
* Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate hotel staff to maintain high performance standards.
* Monitor occupancy, revenue, and operating costs to achieve business objectives.
* Prepare work schedules and ensure adequate staffing across departments.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, security, and hospitality regulations.
* Develop and implement operational procedures to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction.
* Monitor inventory, procurement, and supplier relationships.
* Prepare operational reports and provide regular updates to hotel ownership.
* Report maintenance issues and ensure the hotel facilities are well maintained.
* Promote a positive work environment and uphold the hotel’s values and service standards.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
* Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in hotel management or a supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
* Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Sound knowledge of hotel operations, budgeting, and customer service.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel management systems is an advantage.
* Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions.
* High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
* Must be willing to work weekends, public holidays, and flexible hours as required.
* Must be willing to reside in Cape Coast
