Phahlane maintains he never signed contract for blue lights

By GhanaSummary NewsroomSouth Africa

Phahlane says, “The mistake they make is that I signed specifications for a national contract for the provision of blue lights for the South African Police Service.

Former Acting National Police Commissioner Khomotso Phahlane has challenged the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) and the Investigating Directorate Against Corruption (IDAC) to bring evidence that he participated in the contract to supply emergency warning equipment for the South African Police Service (SAPS) in 2016.

He insists that he has never signed a document for the blue lights contract in Gauteng.
