North West residents call on municipalities to do more to create jobs

Residents across the North West are not only concerned about poor service delivery but are also calling on municipalities to do more to create a conducive environment for job opportunities and economic growth.

On the other hand, the Democratic Alliance (DA) is focussing on growing local economies by supporting small businesses and informal traders, while the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) has also outlined job creation and plans to strengthen capacity within municipalities.

The reason why I’m voting is because we want water and jobs,” adds another resident.
