City Power has revised its estimated date for the full restoration of power in Johannesburg’s CBD to Thursday, subject to outstanding repairs, testing and safety checks.
The prolonged outage follows September’s fire at the Central Substation, which City Power suspects may be linked to criminal syndicates targeting the electricity network.
