Tano South Assembly supports PwDs with start-up items

By Augustine Agyapong, GNA Bechem, (Ahafo) Sept 3, GNA – Mr Emmanuel Kwame Frimpong, the Tano South Municipal Chief Executive in the Ahafo Region has presented start-up kits to some Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) to start their own businesses and enhance their livelihoods.
Mr Frimpong said that the support was part of efforts by the Assembly to empower the PwDs economically and enhance their livelihoods.
Speaking at a ceremony at Bechem, Mr Frimpong explained that the items were bought through the PwDs share of the District Assembly Common Fund (DACF) and urged the beneficiaries to utilize them for the intended purpose.
