Health Minister seeks Catholic Church’s support to complete stalled Agenda 111 hospitals

The Minister for Health, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, has appealed to faith-based organisations, particularly the Catholic Church, to partner with the government in completing some of the stalled Agenda 111 hospital projects across the country.

According to the Ministry of Health, the Minister made the appeal during an engagement with Bishops of the Catholic Church, where he outlined government’s efforts to address challenges affecting the implementation of the Agenda 111 programme.

The Minister said the government was open to partnerships with faith-based organisations, including the Catholic Church, to manage some of the completed hospitals on a non-profit basis.
