AMPF-MiM 2026, Mining Indaba partner to advance Africa’s mineral policy and investment agenda

The African Minerals Policy Forum – Mining in Motion 2026 (AMPF-MiM) and Investing in African Mining Indaba have announced a strategic partnership to strengthen cooperation among Africa’s mineral-producing countries and connect mineral policy with investment, regional value chains and sustainable industrialization.

Taking place from October 19–21, 2026, at the Destiny Arena in Accra, Ghana, AMPF-MiM 2026 will convene African mining ministers, governments, continental institutions, development partners, investors and industry leaders under the theme “One Continent, One Policy-Aligning Africa’s Mineral Future.

A key focus will be improving cooperation and policy alignment among mineral-producing countries, supporting regional efforts to mobilize African and international capital for mining and related infrastructure while promoting responsible mining and environmental sustainability, and strengthening Africa’s position in global mineral markets.
