Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, the running mate for (NDC) flagbearer John Mahama has assured Ghanaian women of the party's commitment to creating jobs for them when they win the 2024 elections in December.

Just like other social interventions the NDC implemented under the Mills-Mahama administration that supported women financially to create small and medium-scale (SME) businesses, the former Education Minister believes there would be similar ones when Ghanaians vote against the NPP and give the NDC the nod to steer the affairs of the country.

Professor Opoku-Agyemang who is on a tour of the Western Region to interact with Chiefs, women groups, and opinion leaders has been specific about the policies that will better the lives of Ghanaians and reduce the hardship the people grapple with on a daily basis under the Akufo-Addo government.

One of the key policies that she said would benefit women immensely across the country is the Women's Development Bank. "I told the women about NDC presidential candidate John Dramani Mahama's strong commitment to empowering women financially.
