President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo last Friday joined Chinese citizens in the country to commemorate the 75th National Day of the People's Republic of China in Accra.
The event which was held at the residence of the Chinese Ambassador to Ghana, Mr Tong Defa, also saw the attendance of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Ms Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey, Minister of National Security, Albert Kan Dapaah, Members of the Diplomatic Corps and a host of other dignitaries.
The Chinese National Day is celebrated annually by the people of China across the world to commemorate the founding of modern day China also referred to as the People's Republic of China.
Delivering his welcome address, Mr Tong Defa said since the founding of the PRC some 75 years ago, China had worked to deeply integrate with the wider world.
