Reverend Isaac Owusu-Bempah, the founder and leader of Glorious Word Power Ministry International, has accused President of allowing river bodies in the country to be destroyed by illegal mining, popularly known as galamsey.
According to him, even though he has praised the president in certain aspects of the economy, the president has failed on the issue of galamsey. "Rivers are being destroyed in this country, and all the river bodies in Ghana are being destroyed.
So, pastors should rise and fight against galamsey because if we don't take care, very soon we might not have water to drink.
Chiefs should rise, and elders and stakeholders should rise because galamsey is destroying the rivers," he said.
