The Flagbearer of the (NDC), former President , has reacted to the outcome of the balloting for the 2024 presidential election.

Mahama drew the number 8 slot on the ballot paper for the 2024 presidential election at the balloting conducted by the of Ghana in Accra, on Friday, September 20, 2024.

Reacting to this in a post shared on Facebook on September 21, 2024, the NDC presidential candidate indicated that he was thrilled with his position on the ballot paper for the 2024 election.

He said that the number should represent the hope of the people of Ghana and urged them to vote massively for him come December 7, 2024. "I am excited that we picked No.

8 on the ballot for the upcoming presidential elections.

Let's make this a number of hope and change on 7th December," the former President wrote.

About the balloting: The on Friday, September 20, 2024, held a balloting event for the upcoming December 7 general elections.
