Ghana's Sports Minister, Kofi Adams, is facing renewed criticism after it emerged that his claims about slashing Black Stars player bonuses to $5,000 are misleading and inaccurate.
Mr.
Adams, already under scrutiny for what many have described as a "populist approach," disclosed details of the Ghana Football Association's (GFA) budget estimates just 48 hours before the World Cup qualifier against Chad in Ndjamena.
The disclosure not only triggered public debate but also appeared to disrupt the team's focus, with the Black Stars settling for a disappointing 1-1 draw.
