The Medical Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) will hold a one-day capacity-building workshop for medical officers from the Ghana Premier League, Women's Premier League, and Division One League on Tuesday, September 9.

The training is aimed at strengthening the knowledge base of medical staff ahead of the new season, with a strong focus on player health, safety, and overall well-being.

According to the GFA, the programme will also serve as a refresher course for practitioners, while providing a platform for experience sharing and the introduction of updated medical guidelines in football.

The initiative forms part of the Association's broader efforts to raise standards across domestic competitions by equipping club medical officers with the latest tools and knowledge needed to manage players effectively during the season.
