Head coach of Ghana's Black Stars, Otto Addo, has expressed optimism in his team's chances of beating Mali in their next match in the qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

However, he insists that the only way the Black Stars would merit all three points is to improve their execution in front of goal on the matchday and convert the chances they will create.

This comes after the coach's assessment of Ghana's disappointing 1-1 draw against Chad in the World Cup qualifiers on Thursday afternoon.

Speaking in his post-match interview, Coach Otto Addo admitted it was a difficult match but shared that his team should have secured a win at the end of the contest. "At the end, I can't say we played excellent [against Chad], or we played well, because the result is everything, I know.
