The Inspector General of Police, Christian Tetteh Yohunu, has arrived in Akwatia to personally assess security arrangements ahead of the highly anticipated by-election set for Tuesday, September 2, 2025.

More than 5,000 personnel from the are expected to be deployed for the election.
