Health Minister Kwabena Mintah Akandoh has explained that medical negligence has become a monster rearing its head in Ghana's health sector that needs to be addressed.

He explains that the country is paying dearly for medical negligence, and the earlier the country addresses the issues in the various wards in the country, the better for the health system in Ghana.

The Minister of Health made this known when he met with journalists on Thursday, August 21, 2025.
