The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) has announced a significant change in a transformative move to enhance convenience.

The DVLA's Adenta office will now operate 24-hours a day, a decision aimed at improving the efficiency and accessibility of its services.

This initiative was revealed by Julius Neequaye Kotey, Chief Executive Officer of the DVLA, during an interview with on Channel One TV's Face to Face on August 19, 2025.

Kotey emphasised that the initiative is part of a broader strategy to streamline operations and accommodate the diverse schedules of the public. "For now, we are only implementing this at the Adenta office," he stated. "This is the first office I opened after the renovation, where you can access all our services."
