The Obuasi High Court has dismissed an election petition filed by former Trade and Industry Minister, K.T.
Hammond, challenging the parliamentary victory of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate, Godwin Animli Dorgbadzi Dorani, in Adansi Asokwa.
Justice Kwabena Twumasi, delivering the ruling on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, struck out the case and fined Mr.
Hammond GH¢60,000, describing the petition as a waste of the court's time.
