Club licensing manager Esme Mends says the groundwork has been laid for a stronger and more organized football season after his team completed their first round of venue inspections across the country.

Mends explained that the early checks were important for helping clubs understand what is required before the official decisions are announced. "We have done first inspection that one decisions did not come out we looked at current state of all facilities across the country both Premier League and Division One.

So we are done so in the next three days ahead of us we start the main inspection, and we will bring the decisions out," he told Peace FM as monitored by Ghanasoccernet.com "All clubs in fact know what to do after the first inspection we have sent the report series of reports we have done follow up checks we have seen everything. "They have ask us questions we have answered them all so we are expecting to go back everything will be in order and with the cash injection and the production on board now we have raised the bar so we are expecting the clubs to meet the requirements so that we get a good season,"
