The Minister of Health, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, has visited the Greater Accra Regional Hospital (Ridge Hospital) following a clash at its Emergency Department that was captured in a viral social media video.
The confrontation involved relatives of an accident victim and medical staff, reportedly over alleged delays in treating a critically injured patient.
The situation, which escalated into the assault of a nurse, compelled hospital management to call in the to restore order.
