(NPP) activist, Daniel Adomako, popularly known as Sir Obama Pokuase, has reportedly been re-arrested by the Ghana Police Service.

The activist, who was first arrested on August 13, 2025, as part of ongoing intelligence-led operations targeting the illegal possession and display of sophisticated weapons, had been in police custody after failing to meet the bail conditions granted by an Accra Circuit Court.

According to the police, his initial arrest was to assist with investigations into videos and images allegedly shared on social media showing individuals brandishing high-grade firearms.

Appearing before Accra Circuit Court 10 on Monday, August 18, 2025, Sir Obama Pokuase, having finally met his bail conditions, was expected to be released after the court's adjournment.
