Young midfielder Mawuli Mensah could make his official debut for Real Betis when they face Elche in their opening match of the 2025/26 La Liga season on Monday night.
The 21-year-old has been included in Manuel Pellegrini's matchday squad after catching the eye with a series of strong performances during pre-season.
Mensah featured heavily for Betis in their build-up to the new campaign, earning praise for his energy and composure in midfield.
Mensah joined the Spanish side in 2022 from Ghanaian lower-tier club Shooting Stars and quickly established himself as a regular in Betis' youth ranks.
