The Odumase-Krobo Circuit Court has sentenced a 27-year-old driver, Nartey Tetteh Adjei, to five years in prison for attacking a farmer with a cutlass.

The incident occurred during a dispute over a stray piglet in Kpongunor, a suburb of Odumase-Krobo in the Eastern Region.

According to the prosecution, led by Chief Inspector John Brahene, the incident occurred on August 9, 2025, at about 5:00 p.m.

He noted that the complainant, Emmanuel Ofoe, an animal farmer, discovered that one of his piglets had escaped from its pen and was feeding behind the accused's house.
