The Member of Parliament for Amenfi Central Constituency, Joana Gyan Cudjoe, spearheaded a significant initiative aimed at enhancing the livelihoods and promoting the independence of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) within her constituency.
In collaboration with the Amenfi Central District Assembly and the Department of Social Welfare, a total of 42 PWDs received various essential items and financial support.
The donations, strategically chosen to provide beneficiaries with tools for economic empowerment and improved daily living, included: Chest freezers: To support small businesses, particularly in food storage and sales.
Wheelchairs: To enhance mobility and accessibility for individuals with physical impairments.
