The Ranking Member of the Defence and Interior Committee of , Reverend , has launched a robust public advocacy campaign to improve the resourcing of Ghana's military.
Speaking on the Tuesday, August 12, 2025, edition of Metro TV's Good Evening Ghana, the Member of for Assin South emphasised the need for a non-partisan dialogue to strengthen the country's security agencies.
He cited pressing challenges such as terrorism threats, cybercrime, the rise of illegal mining (galamsey), and cross-border criminal activities. "Security is paramount, and I am extending the conversation beyond the Ghana Armed Forces to the entire national security architecture.
