OGC Nice Chief Executive Officer Fabrice Boquet says the club is banking on the experience and quality of Ghana midfielder Salis Abdul Samed as they prepare for the new Ligue 1 campaign.

The 25-year-old joined Nice on a three-year deal from RC Lens after being deemed surplus to requirements at his former club.

His arrival sees him reunited with coach Franck Haise, under whom he previously worked, a connection Boquet believes will aid a swift adaptation. "He meets the coach's expectations.

Salis and Franck know each other very well, which will make it easier for him to integrate, because each knows how the other works and what the other expects," Boquet said.
