Former Bibiani GoldStars midfielder Frank Amankwah is close to joining Berekum Chelsea ahead of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season, just days after terminating his contract with Karela United.
The 31-year-old played a pivotal role in GoldStars' title-winning campaign last season, making 26 appearances and delivering consistent midfield performances.
He parted ways with the champions at the end of the season in search of a new challenge.
Amankwah signed a two-year deal with Karela United late last month but cancelled the contract within weeks for undisclosed reasons, leaving him a free agent.
