Eastern Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Dr Mark-Oliver Kevor, has eulogised the late former Minister of Defence, Dr Edward Omane Boamah, describing him as generous, disciplined and loyal to the party and President John Dramani Mahama.
Speaking on Asempa FM's Ekosii Sen on August 12, 2025, Dr Kevor recalled how the late Dr Omane Boamah once sold his car to raise funds for his campaign for the regional chairmanship. "He supported me in kind and cash.
At one point, he sold his car to raise resources for my campaign.
I became regional chairman, and we went on to support the national elections," he said.
