The President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Okraku, has announced the introduction of a nationwide U-15 Girls Colts League for the 2025/26 season.

The initiative was unveiled during the 31st Ordinary Congress at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.

The league, which will be rolled out across all Regional Football Associations (RFAs), aims to nurture young female talent and strengthen the foundations of women's football in the country.

To support its implementation, the GFA will provide a total of GHS80,000 in financial assistance to the RFAs.
